About
Sophia Jesenia Gonzalez is a New York-based writer and editor whose work spans the fashion, retail, and media industries.
Gonzalez began her editorial career as a Fulbright scholar, penning a monthly column for her hometown newspaper that chronicled her discoveries and musings while living in France. Since then, she has written fashion and news coverage from New York and London for a host of international publishers such as Condé Nast, Hearst, and The New York Times Company; produced e-commerce content for Hugo Boss and Michael Kors; and taken the editorial lead in conceptualizing seasonal campaigns for Ralph Lauren.
Gonzalez holds a MA Fashion degree in journalism from London’s Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. To this day, she is a proponent of those who seek to redefine, reclaim, and rethink fashion.
